Motor control failure detected.
The F41 error indicates that the washer’s motor control unit (MCU) is not responding correctly. Whirlpool Cabrio and HE washers and Duet front-load washers use a dedicated MCU to regulate motor speed, torque, and direction. If the MCU fails to initialize, loses communication with the main control board, or detects internal faults, the washer triggers F41. This error is often associated with failing MCUs, wiring issues, or voltage irregularities.
